Grace Ann 7 months ago- From the moment Mr. Lopopolo came to our house for an estimate, he was beyond professional. Our custom staircase turned out to be the focal point of the home; it is absolutely beautiful! They are professional, knowledgeable, and excellent at their trade. The price was very reasonable for the high quality job they did. I will definitely use Lopopolo again!
Great job by Lopopolo Iron Works This is another very positive review for Lopopolo Iron Works. Joseph Lopopolo and his team built a deck off the parlor floor of our apartment. Joseph had excellent ideas that influenced our design, and his price was very competitive with the other companies we were considering. I visited his shop on McDonald Avenue to get a sense of his workmanship and saw the wide range of skillful work he had done. After we signed on with Joseph, our permits were held up for an incredibly long time, and Joseph was very patient with our delays. In fact, he delivered the steel beams about nine months before we ultimately completed the job because he wanted ensure that their delivery wouldn’t damage the rest of our renovation. Once we had our permits, he finished the job almost immediately. His workers were careful and hard-working, and Joseph quickly accommodated a last-minute design change that we threw at him. Through it all, Joseph was a real pleasure to work with. His professionalism, skill, and ability to deliver his product on time and as promised stood out to me among the other contractors we worked with during our renovation.
Lopopolo Iron Works - did our steel deck and did a great job. Joe Lopopolo is really good at what he does. Found via Brownstoner, lots of recommendations and we learned after hiring them that they did half the decks across the street from us.
We also used Lopopolo Iron works for our deck work, and they were terrific.
I want to give a shout-out to Joe Lopopolo at Lopopolo Ironworks who just finished building us a steel deck today. Joe does all kinds of steel work and after hiring him I learned that two neighbors used him for their steel/cement decks - one maybe 15 years ago and one 4 years ago, just a coincidence. He (and I think his father) has been in the business for a long time. I hired him because I liked his "flat metal slat" deck that's kind of a cross between an elegant fire escape and a metal Italian veranda, that I had read about on brownstoner, and reached out to him. it's a legal steel deck for permitting purposes, it's (hopefully) not bad to walk on and lets light and water through (and we have a deck below the new one, so had to think about not eclipsing the lower floor's space). Now, it's brand spanking new so it hasn't been time-tested, but it looks great. I have affiliation to him - I'm just happy to have hired him.
Once again, I had a very positive experience with Lopopolo Iron Works. My husband and I are beyond happy with the newly installed deck. Joseph Lopopolo is professional, knowledgeable and attentive to detail. His estimate was quite reasonable and his customer service was outstanding! I am very pleased with the service and have recommended Lopopolo to neighbors.
